The Key Largo Woodrat subsists on fruits and leaves, and prefers to live in the tropical hammocks(Who wouldn't!) in large nests built with sticks. Unlike their pesky cousins(common Brown rats), they have furry tails, don't typically invade human space, and they are endangered! These cute little rodents can ONLY be found on the northern part of Key Largo in the Florida Keys. Wendy says, "We don't bother you, so could you kindly leave us the wee territory we have left? We'd be much obliged!"
